Your spreadsheet clients just became a quarterly problem
Making Tax Digital for Income Tax means sole traders and landlords over £50,000 are already sending quarterly updates, with £30,000 joining from April 2027 and £20,000 from April 2028. HMRC expects around 1,077,000 more people to join in April 2027 alone.
